Overview
As Sr. Producer at Riot Games, our founder, Derick Tsai, led a remote, global, cross-functional team for RiotX Arcane, a groundbreaking transmedia marketing event. The mission was to launch Arcane on two of the world’s largest platforms: Netflix and Riot’s portfolio of games.
About
The global launch of Arcane presented an unprecedented challenge. We had to coordinate across the series, Netflix, and Riot’s entire game portfolio, all while managing a staggered release schedule.
Derick guided his team in collaborating with internal stakeholders and top-tier partners worldwide, ensuring every element aligned with Arcane's visual and narrative style. This seamless integration of Games, Animation, Linear Media, Cinematics and Visual Designcreated an immersive global experience.
Arcane’s launch was a massive success, breaking Netflix’s worldwide viewership records and becoming a global phenomenon.
